For S/S 2016 Georgia has been inspired by the elements of the Zodiac using symbols of Scorpio, Cancer and Gemini in intricate laser and pleating techniques. The laser details are inspired by old Japanese stencilling to create texture and shadows.

The 'Scorpio' design cut out of a paper pleat which later went on the inspire the 'Scorpion Shirt'.

Here shows the stencilling processes for the 'Gemini Twin Bird', laser cut onto the Georgia Hardinge signature pleats along with a decorative leaf design.

 

For the SS16 presentation, the Georgia Hardinge team created their own sets based upon the designs from the collection.

For the second walkway of the presentation, the models entered a room filled with 10,000 post-it notes fluttering in the wind of 11 ground fans. This was in collaboration with set designer Claudio Giambusso.
