The AW2014 'Faded' collection has been inspired by shapes created by the shadows of architectural structures like bridges and buildings. With this in mind Georgia Hardinge further developed her bespoke pleating technique with concentration on merging 2D and 3D elements.

The collection features real life actual pleated sculptures, pictured above, and a new pleating technique that creates fading sculptures with a knitwear effect. The print of the collection plays with the concepts of light and shadow as well as 2D variations of the sculptural elements. This season’s colour palette contrasts soft silver and pale pink with sharp and crisp white and black like shadows on icy, snow filled streets.
